These are simple crew socks made from glossy Egyptian cotton that has undergone a high-quality mercerization process*. The cuffs are not tight, so we recommend wearing them slightly slouchy or folded down three times. The toes are also linked*, allowing them to fit smoothly and neatly, even when worn with pumps.
*Mercerization: A process that removes fuzz from yarn using chemicals, giving it a silk-like luster and suppleness.
*Linking: A process that closes the toe of a sock. The stitches of the upper and lower knit are carefully aligned and sewn one by one, so there is no bulkiness in the seam. This is a specification for high-quality socks that only a few special craftsmen can perform.
